Indonesian Day

On the 25th August the Year 9 and 10 Indonesian students went to St Joseph's Primary School, Black Rock for the annual Indonesian Day.

The aim for this day was for us to provide the primary school students with a greater knowledge of Indonesia's culture. The Year 9 students were involved in creating an Indonesian market as well as many board games, whilst the Year 10 students were involved in creating an Indonesian version of 'Go Go Stop!'. Each activity ran for the entirety of the day, as we worked with both junior and senior primary students.

Overall, the day was a success as the St Joseph's primary students got to learn new things about Indonesia's culture, and we got to improve our own Indonesian skills. On behalf of all of the Year 9 and 10 Indonesian students I would like to thank Ms Collins and Mrs Inwood as well as the St Joseph's teachers for making the day as good as it was.
