The aim of the St James College Parents & Friends’ Association is to foster a spirit of union and a sense of belonging. St James College is fortunate to receive practical and financial support by a number of fundraising and social activities organised by the Parents and Friends. All parents are most welcome to participate.

The Parents and Friends provide support to the College in a number of ways:
• Provide a forum for the parents to discuss aspects of their sons’ education
• Organise social functions for parents and families
• Organise fundraising to purchase equipment and resources to directly support and assist the students at the College

Over recent years equipment/resources for the students has comprised:
• Air conditioning of all classrooms
• Works on the oval including irrigation and provision of soccer goals and cricket pitch
• The refurbishment of the Hall – AV system and Projection Screen and stage curtains
• Resurface of the College Hall
• Provision of College bus
• Additional IT equipment for classrooms and specialist areas
